Fashion Illustration
Project One
For this project, I took this Hugo Boss advertisement and redrew it as the ten-head fashion figure. I then used different media to recreate the drawing. The media used were marker, colored pencil, watercolor and gouache, respectively. Each medium presented a new challenge and this project helped me learn to work with a variety of tools when illustrating my fashion designs.
Project Two
This project had me take a brand that I like and design something that I think they would have in their store. I chose Nike for this project and designed a tank top, leggings, bag and sneakers that I could see them selling. I created this illustration using marker, colored pencil and watercolor.
Project Three
This is my final project for Fashion Illustration. It is the culmination of all that I have learned this semester in this class. I drew five different looks inspired by Zion National Park. This is a collection for a young woman who is taking a weekend to go to Zion National Park. I created a collection that a woman would purchase the entirety of. She has a piece for every type of weather and occasion in this collection which will suit her well on her weekend getaway. I used marker, colored pencil and watercolor for my illustrations and pencil for my technical flats. I would like to make many of the pieces I designed in this collection in the future (probably this summer).
